I bought a little gold to give my new account a boost (I hate farming and I hate walking even more, so I wanted enough to buy horses for my toons).
About a week after I bought the gold (face to face) I get a note (in-game mail) from a GM indicating that my account was flagged for buying gold. My account is still active though so I guess it was just a warning.
Anyone guess if this was just bad luck (person giving me the gold was a known seller) or they just have more robust methods of catching sellers/buyers?
I guess if I don't buy anymore with this account I will be safe but not sure what it all means, insight is appreciated.
