so im using the google app and i have some problems. i scan the barcode and then it gives me a random 6 digit number that doesnt even work
am i doing this wrong?

Nick you already have the ability to edit your posts for 6 months since you're in the Epic Member usergroup.

As for the authenticator, most likely the authenticator is not synced with the time of your phone. Try this.

Access the Authenticator settings, press your "menu" button, which is usually located in the lower-left side of your smartphone and then go to "Time correction for codes -> Sync now". After I did that, the code generated was good and accepted
