Am I being scammed?

Hi all. I traded an account with

Everything went very smooth. His account was not merged, mine was. So after we traded I quickly merged his account into my b.net account. He told me everything was fine on his end. So I am thinking great I finally found a legit trader on MD.

Well I asked him for the last name on his account because I wanted to have it for records (I merged his account and forgot to write down the org owner name. Stupid I know)

I have asked now for several days for the last name and I never get a response. However I have recently started getting my inbox spammed by blizzards billing and account services team. Which leads me to believe he is trying to take his account back.

I have 4 emails from billing and account services when I in fact have never contacted them.......

There's not really anything he can do now. But it would seem that way, yes.

You can just respond to those emails claiming you never filed a report with them in the first place. That should take care of his trying to retrieve his account.


You kinda pwned him by merging the account. Grats to you.

Are you sure its actually Blizzard trying to contact you or wannabes sending you emails from a server with the blizzard email address? Recently I have about 4 emails from "Blizzard" stating the same thing.

aye... i find that usually when blizzard is legitimately sending me message they don't send me more than once repeat.. i suppose twice is possible but..meh.

i also recently got many bunk blizzard emails from a fake name. i'd be wary of where the links in those emails take you. i also noticed the more i post on the lounge / scammers forums i get more of them go figure with my email in my sig. Oh well. just something for you to keep in mind in case you do get more.
