Well I don't trust middlemen because I've been ripped 2x by them. Usually people partner with them and give partial cuts etc. You're taking just as big of a risk with or without one from my experience.

I suggest you use a middle man. No one is going to go first on a $250 transaction with someone that has 0 feedback and just joined the website (yet claims they've been scammed many times on this site).
