Looking around at account prices, lowering price of account to $35, which is less than a new standard account costs.

 

It's alright man, frustrations are mostly aimed at MaskedCrusader, not you. I've had to deal with the fallout from that nonsense since it happened and it's kind of like a bad memory at this point based on the way they handled it and treated me.

Account is now sold.

Not sure offhand to to link Amazon as I am not the most computer savy individual but you are free to search for [email protected] if you want and I'm sure you'll hit something.
Only blip I have on Amazon is someone who was unhappy that a sticker was on a video game indicating it sold for a lower price than they paid, even though it was a rare out of print item that sold for less than the going cost due to condition.

As for Skype, I do not have it anymore or like using it, I used it for about 2 days and uninstalled it as half the people on here that I was contacting were obvious scammers and kept bothering me on it or trying to connect for calls. I probably didn't really understand how to fully use it but it's not for me and I don't really have a desire to reinstall it or take calls on there.

 

Your account of what happened reasonable and makes sense. The main thing that ticked off my suspicions was when you claimed to not have used Skype when you previously made a scammer accusation thread with Skype chat logs.

You say you've used email for 15 years, but I have no way of confirming that. Again, if you're an honest person, then I'm sorry for making that post. I just felt it necessary to post a warning when I saw that thread and after what you said about Skype.

 

Since I now have to defend myself, yet again, from a baseless move by this group MaskedCrusader apparently lets walk through this:

-I posted an account for sale on MaskedCrusader for Order & Chaos. A user named afortiori made a post in that thread wanting to buy the account originally.
-That same user, afortiori was at least claiming to sell accounts on MaskedCrusader at the time and had other threads going on the same page, Order & Chaos accounts up for sale.
-The next post is this user oliveryochest who says he sent payment and was awaiting account information
-The user continues to post a few times and then suddenly claims he was scammed and that I somehow miraculously changed my account name through mystical powers from afortiori to embers even though both of us had active accounts at the time, were selling accounts and only one of us was apparently an actual scammer
-As a result of the baseless claim, with no file ever being opened on me and no chance given to defend myself, I was banned
-Read those posts carefully and think to yourself does it actually seem he was scammed by me or does it make sense that maybe it was an error on his part

Now that you've used your brain for a second, take a minute to actually message him or e-mail him and ask him yourself if it was a mistake. Ask him for the Paypal information and personal information of the scammer he did work with.

In fact Beamas since I've used this e-mail address for over 15 years and never had a problem outside of that MaskedCrusader mixup, if you can actually link to a scam I'll give you this Norn Guardian account. You can't use that one stupid MaskedCrusader page as evidence, but I'll even give you the rest of MaskedCrusader to feed off of including the scammer section so you can see nobody ever cried foul over me specifically and this user even reported afortiori as a scammer, not me.

I use the same handle and same e-mail address that I always have, dating back to Ultima Online because I have nothing to hide and I am who I am. If I need to verify it yet again for EpicNPC then I say bring it on because at the end of the day I am here to enjoy the site, try to use it to get what I need for the games I play and just keep rolling along.

Edit: I contacted the user and he had apologized in an e-mail, my account was banned and I could not post anymore and I'm not sure if the thread was closed to people posting. I sent the e-mail and many messages to MaskedCrusader, all unreplied to.

 

What you say sounds plausible, but the person that accused never went and said it was an accident on that thread.

However, what really made me suspicious was your claim of not having used Skype when I pm'd you when there is evidence of the contrary. But again, I'm not sure you're a scammer, just a bunch of things that pointed in that direction. If I'm wrong then I apologize, my post was just warning. If you'd still like to trade with a mediator, then I'm up for it.

EDIT: If you could direct me to a page showing your eBay or Amazon accounts that would be great.

 

Actually if you read the thread carefully the person that posted was confused because they were unable to distinguish between the person "last poster" and "thread creator". I contacted that user who admitted he was confused but the tools over at Masked Crusader, though they seemingly let actual scammers have a chance to defend themselves, instantly banned me without so much as letting me write a single message.

You are welcome to further investigate the e-mail on Ebay, Amazon, ArmoryBids.com or whatever other site you would like to use though if it please you.

As for MaskedCrusader, why don't you do some further investigation and notice that aside from a baseless claim, no case information or dispute was ever posted and all that ever happened was one posted got confused, typed one simple message and it ended things just like that.

In reference to what I am saying about "thread poster" and "thread creator", if you notice a person posted in the thread and was later banned as a case was opened up against him. He tried to buy the account from me that I was selling at the time in Order & Chaos, the user that made a post didn't read it carefully and saw that users name in the thread, made an accusation that the user scammed him and that's all she wrote.

I encourage you to investigate it further though, about time someone actually looked at the silliness of that situation.
