I opened a dispute against this scammer on paypal. Throughout the dispute, he made it sound like he would give me the account once the funds cleared. On my end of paypal, the funds are said to clear on 12/30/24. He said for him the funds were locked up until 1/19/25. My dispute had to be escalated before 1/18/25.

Closer to the end of the dispute escalation deadline, he started messaging me about how I would like to receive the account details. Then he ghosted me again until 1/18/25. As soon as my dispute on paypal came to an end due to me not escalating it because I thought he was a decent human being who would give me the account I paid for, he sent me the world's most pretentious message, mocking me and cursing me.

His message reads:
"next time u get sick or anything else bad happens to you, remember the karma u have, it will never stop untill u die or kill urself. Have a nice day little pathetic thief. u took the money back from paypal little stealing liar. i knew it for more then a week. remember my karma words when it happens."

At this point, I'm very confused as to what this guy is even saying. The dispute ended in his favor because I never escalated it and paypal wont even reopen it now because they apparently don't reopen cases once they are closed. So what is he talking about when saying I took the money back?

He is either very stupid or the world's most shameless person, acting like he is the victim when he knows deep inside that he is a filthy little lowlife scammer.

It's $200. You would shame yourself for such a low amount of money? Go ahead, I won't stop you. I'll just escalate through my bank to get back the money you worked so hard to scam out of my pocket.

I won't curse you like your little shameless ass did to me though. I will do the opposite. I wish you the best, that you can one day become a productive member of the Belgian society instead of being a worthless deadweight that you are right now.

Reply to the scammer making excuses:

My Belgian dude, how can you say I took the money back when it is clear as day the money is still in your possession? A glace at paypal is all it takes to know this. I honestly do not believe you, or anyone for that matter, to be able to be this dumb, so I can only assume that you are "playing dumb" for whatever reason. You scammed me, you got my money and never gave me the account. Now just go disappear like the normal scammers do, stop hanging around making excuses when you yourself know everything coming out of your mouth is nothing but pure deception. I escalated the dispute with paypal yesterday (how can I do that if I took the money back a week ago like you are accusing me of??) so I will deal with paypal. I've never met such a shameless scammer before, and that's saying a lot because scammers are usually pretty damn shameless (but you shine above them all). Go have fun with your $200 while it lasts.

I had the misfortune of dealing with this insufferable lunatic.

I was about to buy a POE2 account with Wreclast pack. I sent him the money first via Paypal but the money got put on hold due to the usual paypal fraud prevention things. On my end, it said the seller should receive the money in 1 day (sent on 12/29/24, to receive by 12/30/24) but the seller said the money won't be cleared until 1/19/25. The seller suggested that I wait until the money gets cleared and that he'd give the account details then. That was a deal-breaker for me as I'm trying to get some gaming in before the break ends.

I suggested that the seller cancel the transaction so that I can try resending as F&F to see if that would help the funds get cleared quicker. The seller told me to cancel it from my end as he is not going to cancel or refund any money. I showed him my page on paypal and how there were no options for me to cancel the transaction, and that the only thing that I can do is request the seller to cancel. Even despite seeing screenshots showing that there are no options for me to cancel from my end, the seller refused to believe what he saw with his own eyes. He started calling me a scammer and proudly repeated like a crazy person how he would not fall for my "scam tactics." I continued to assure him, or at least tried to, that canceling a transaction isn't a scam tactic and that there were zero risks involved. That he would simply be refunding the money I sent to him. I even suggested that he seek some advice from paypal support or epicnpc moderators/middlemans if he didn't believe me but to no avail. He wouldn't listen to anything I said and kept saying I'm a scammer trying to scam him.

Even inquired Angel the global moderator about this and Angel said the seller might be the one who is trying to scam.

Conclusion? I don't know if this guy is a scammer or just a crazy lunatic. In fact, I don't even know which one is worse but what I do know is that this guy made me want to rip my hair out. I've never once communicated with another human being so adamant, closedminded and unwilling to listen who also happens to have the situational awareness and comprehensive skills of a seashell.

**Reply to Seller: I didn't pressure you to give me the details before the funds cleared. The funds being held is between you and paypal, it has nothing to do with me and the money has already left my bank account. I said ONCE I'd like to get the info so I can start playing right away. In no way or form have I pressured you. After you said no, I tried to find other solutions. Some of those solutions were you canceling the transaction so that I can resend the payment with F&F to see if funds would clear quicker that way. That's when you started accusing me of being a scammer. Seriously, go learn how paypal works before accusing people of being scammers. Canceling a transaction poses zero risk to you so at this point you're the one who is fishy. Why did you say the funds are clearing on January 19th 2025 when on my screen it says you're getting the money December 30th 2024?
