I just realized i have been messaged by a different account that went by the exact same name. why and how is duplicate usernames even a thing that's allowed on a forum.

Holy shi* It seems like this site really is filled with scammers. Damn I'm relatively new and people trying to pose as me. Sorry for being a little harsh. It appears that you got scammed by someone that was definitely not me. While I have discord available, I almost always trade solely on epicnpc to leave the transaction record. So customers can have more reassurance as discord scams do not get investigated. I will now leave a disclaimer that there are people posing as me. Sorry for your loss.

Ppl not trying pose as you specifically, scammer took an advantage from buyer leaving a message in your selling post, once they see someone interested in purchasing they start to act, that's not rly common but still happen, unfortunately buyer forgot to check profile and its clearly visible that scammer's profile is not phone verified :(
