Maybe it's just me but i don't understand the dota Id number. Never heard of it. Do you mean the add friend Id?

When you open the dota game you have a dota id in your profile where and if I enter it in the client it will show me your profile.

I haven't opened the game in a while. I'll do that tomorrow. I bet I've got a huge update waiting
