As of today 5/27/2022, I'm going to start publicly posting users on here who are trying to run obvious scams going forward, along with screenshots of evidence. Anyone who does something like this will be listed below on this post, as I am tired of scammers contacting me.

1. Gurawr @Gurawr - Used week old EpicNPC and discord account to contact me and said they will use an off site "trusted mm" instead of trade guardian. Click on colored name for screenshots.

Quick responses, answered all my questions. Transaction was for a $5300 item and was handled without needing trade guardian.

Yeah trade guardian is listed as an option. I actually sold my FEH account on here back in early 2019 for $1.6k, though the buyer and I did the transaction over discord, and I still have all the discord logs from that.

Do you live in the US? I would consider this account, but I would want to meet in person. I live in CA.
Yeah I live in the US, I'm east coast though so unless you want to fly to VA to meet since I don't have any plans to visit CA any time soon.

hmm idk i only suggested paypal because crypto prices are going down by each day , if someone pays u 2k crypto u can lose 20% tomorrow
also i suggest u use trade guardian since ur acc is really big and never go first or deal via discord

Is there a reason PayPal isn't accepted?
No possible way to do a chargeback at all through bank with his payment methods requested. Not always the best idea unless the seller is trustworthy. I feel like his account is legimate though.
What therealdeal said - chargeback scam is the last thing I want to deal with after I send all of the account info to change pass/email/links. I will take trade guardian if the buyer pays the fee for it, but it still has to be using one of or a combination of the 3 listed payment methods.

Paypal F&F has no charge backs
You can still do a chargeback from your debit card or credit card with the bank directly, if your payment was done through a bank for the charges. Although it is pretty unlikely that you will win your case unless there are certain extenuating circumstances.
Not true, you can pay as F&F with a credit card -- typically cc companies will process this as a cash advance. This has additional fees + interest charge on your cc but it's still possible to charge back directly with your cc company at a later date. Debit card is likely harder to charge back since they take the money out of your bank account rather than lending you money on credit, but likely still possible if you file a claim with your bank for fraudulent charges, it's just a more lengthy process.

Not only that, Paypal will charge your account (the seller) additional fees if they have to deal with the bank/cc company, so not only do you get nothing if the chargeback is successful, you also lose money. Though I'm not entirely sure if this happens to an F&F payment, but I know it does happen to a regular payment if a bank/cc chargeback occurs, and sounds like something Paypal would do.

Just wanted to say this was interesting insight, I knew it was the case but this affirms it.
Yeah, I was sending money to someone once to help them out and noticed I could use my cc while using F&F. Thought I'd be smart and use my cc since it gives cash back for purchases, but later I realized they charged me a $10 cash advance fee and started charging interest, and there's no cash back for cash advances. Had to call my cc company to waive the charges and they did... but yeah that's still an option for F&F payments.

If paying with Paypal or Wise, you'll need to provide documentation that the transfer was done via bank account transfer and not credit or debit card, and I'll need to have received the payment on my end.
