He's not scamming, just if something would happen to this account (you would forget or someone would report that account for ex. stolen account it gets community banned.) Me and my friends lost a lot of accounts because of lowdigs. Steam support asks for first cd key (HL1, 2).

When restoring any accounts through support, you need a cd key, because in those years it was impossible to buy games, like now
