it was bypassed a day or 2 after the patch but then of course Bandai has started with the bans

The account I bought from him did NOT get a ban notice. Most likely because it didn't participate in WT. All my other Alts were safe except for one and that one entered the WT. So if you buy a duped account I recommend not playing WT anymore. I personally never did go hard in a WT so I don't mind not playing WT again.
