Initially had doubts about the whole boosting thing, but one game finally made me snapped. It wasn't a game full of bad players, well at least not in terms of skill level, it was more of their attitude. Everyone picks core, we have people fighting for a certain hero/lane even when it has been called repeatedly with no contest before. And the last few pickers who were whining about how everyone picks a core and we need support ends up picking core and forces the guy who called mid/safe/off even before the first hero was chosen, to pick a support. This is it I thought, I had enough of this hell hole.
I looked through the boosters in this site and settled for WillyWong as he had a pretty competitive price and was located in the SEA server in which I was playing. Guy gave constant updates and changed his playstyle based on my feedback. He was spamming one hero to climb MMR as he wanted to get as close to 100% win rate as possible and climb in the shortest amount of time, it was fine but I wanted to see if he could play other heroes as I wanted to watch and learn how to deal with different types of situations. He immediately agreed and played a variety of heroes and dominated with each and every one of them. Not all games were complete stomps, some were thought to be lost as the whole team was on a feeding spree but he managed to salvage the situation every time and win the game convincingly, and these back and forth or comeback matches were the ones where I learnt the most when looking at the replays. And it was also then where I, like many others, who always believe myself to be above the mmr/trench I am in to finally accept the truth, I could have never made the same plays as him and carried seemingly unwinnable games if I were in his shoes.
Overall it was a great experience mainly for the following reasons:
1. 100% win rate
2. Booster helped to bet the coins and activate my charms for the fall compendium and I ended up earning a pretty decent sum of coins
3. It is an entirely new experience to watch and learn how highly skilled players carried the games at my skill level as if they were playing against bots, as most of the times I only get to see youtube highlights/twitch streams of the best players playing in the highest level so this was entirely new and helpful.
