Hey mmobay,
Back before I graduated my room-mates played WoW. They had a few toons, I preferred Everquest, anyways they graduated before I did because I slacked a little bit too much. After leaving my room-mate gave me his Rogue. I don't know a lot about WoW anymore, the only games I really play are CoD. To the point though, this Rogue has a title Scarab Lord and has a spider mount thing. He also has Grand Marshal (result of months of account sharing in AV).

I was trying to sell this right after Burning Crusade came out, like within the first 3 days. It didn't work though, he has been inactive since then. I was trying to pull up an armory but he doesn't show up. Also this account was out way before Battle.net so it is not attached to any Battle.net account.

Due to this I can not update the armory or show in-game right now (already tried). We realized I would have to attach the account to a Battle.net and I was quickly informed I should not do that as it will allow the buyer to put the account under their name.

Safety: I do not own an ID for this account, I may be able to get one should I contact my old friend. The account is not secured to a battle.net this means with just a password the account will be stolen and I will be unable to recover even via the phone so we will have to work something out.

Although I believe this is probably a scam, I still don't believe assumptions are justifiable. He never showed the screenshot, so anyone trying to base judgement off of it, that is probably a random *** SS. Also, who said this was for sale on MD? How the hell did you figure that lol? He gave VERY little information about the character..I'm sure there have been multiple SL/GM Rogues for sale.

Also, what idiot said that he was a scammer because he wouldn't go first lmao? You do realize if he went first, you could attach the rogue to your bnet and leave....without ID he couldn't cancel that connection and it would then be under your name..forever..so why would he go first lol

Yes, there are tons of level 60 SL / GM rogues with full t2 - t3, tfury, Tabard of Frost / Flame, black war bear.

What the hell are you talking about? Someone posted a random screenshot that they pulled out of their *** and said it was his rogue...but obviously it wasn't. You therefore can't take a picture of a random rogue that some random person posted and judge based on it. Also, even if the picture was real, Tabard of Frost has been obtainable even before Burning Crusade, it just took UDE points back then.

Edit: Ok, looked back, you posted the pic? So you somehow gathered that this is the same rogue..because he has GM/SL? lmao....so you posted a picture of an old account for sale that you for some reason think is his and now are bashing at the flaws in the own picture YOU linked..NOT HIM lol

The person who made it on MD a while back, put it up for sale to draw attention to himself, pretty sure he was also banned after that, but he would never show in game, ect, just like this fellow.

After about a week of playing games with people, he told told a few of us to change our realmlist to the private server one, and just laughed.

Well even though its 97.66% Scam It's worth a shot for me =P
 
This account was for sale on MD about a year ago. The guy sold it for $2,000+. I highly doubt anyone would just give this account away to anyone, especially someone who calls the mount a "spider mount thing". Be EXTREMELY careful with this one. Also, 60 twinks are dead, even on a capped account.

Good scam, inactive for a long time = no armory, won't be able to know it's on that account, very nice back story.

I am not trying to be judgmental here, but how exactly is the buyer going to be able to confirm the character prior to purchase? Unless I am missing something in my own mind, there is no way to verify the character.
