Well the buyout price was lowered to $1500 and the best offer I have at the moment is $900.

A nice character, hopefully it finds a nice home, the price is a bit high though and as mentioned Cataclysm is soo close no one wants to spend that much more anymore, anyways Shadowmourne will soon be replaced, probably with a BS weapon of some sort, but it's still pretty bad@ss to have just like anyone who owns a legendary can say.

By that logic there is no reason to raid current content because it will inevitably be obsolete at some point in time. Everyone might as well wait a whole expansion than go back and complete old content.

I cant speak on behalf of prospective buyers, but if I were to buy an account of this level for money I would do so to set myself up for the coming expansion. You would have minimal trouble getting into almost any guild heading towards Cata. From there you can make a case for having the gear in place for now to enjoy end tier content ICC/Halion while waiting for Cata to come out and being able to perform to the highest level.

Shadowmourne is probably the least appealing point of my character in my pov. Having Heroic LK/Halion 25 down and Realm 1st Feat of Strengths for them has more weight/vanity value than a Legendary. That is not to say you will not enjoy Shadowmourne for the next 4-6months while waiting for the expansion.

You have to understand that the gear that you are selling will be replaced within 6 months (assuming cata is out in 6). And the acheivements are not $1,000 +. So you need to adjust your price accordingly. Why would anyone spend thousands now, to only replace the gear. The end of an expansion is always the worst time to sell. You are best of setting ur buyout and waiting a week or whatever, and whatever highest price you get take it, because the account will only go down in price, wether you like it or not.

I'd agree with u morde but do u know how nice of vanity shadowmourne well be in Cataclysm?? come on now look at the other stuff that people consider vanity. Shadowmourne well probably be taken out sooner or later because seriously at 85 Lichking and icc r going to be exactly what nax and the bc raids are now... a joke!
 
LK fight isnt a push over by any means, its the mechanics that kill ppl not some steamroll encounter imo, and SM will still be around in cata, still is on alpha/beta atm and they have kept Thunderfury/Rag since Day 1 lol...

Granted all this fluff is nice dont get me wrong, and best of luck selling this! but 2k is still way to much imo, but someone would probbly pay it haha

im confused what you mean but he means it will replaced with lvl 85 req gear, not that it will disapear completley. It will only be a collecters item in Cata
I agree, douchebag resellers should stay the hell out of everyone else's threads, a fair price for an account is whatever someone will pay for it. A reseller telling someone else they're charging too much for an account is the pot calling the kettle black.

Horde. Chill bud. He is perfectly within his right to sell for that amount, even though people like you and I would disagree.

Anyways, Rammeh, I wish you the best of luck with the sale. I would recommend shooting for $1500 for buyout. Anything more than that and you could be sitting on the account for quite some time. With Cataclysm getting closer each day, the value of an account such as this will only go down.

Just my two cents :)

Have had at least 20 tells/IMs pushing for an immediate sale and payment via PayPal (everything I've heard about using paypal to sell a wow account has been negative. Though its worth mentioning I am paypal verified and have a 100% rating for the few items I've purchased on ebay and what not over the years). Which is why for those 1 sentence PMs "How much for DK? I want it now!" I send a reply with an exaggerated quote.

I have yet to come across a Character/Account of a similar level and thus am unable to make a informed decision on the buyout price.

Sorry, didn't really think about it from the buyer's perspective. I guess an explanation is warranted.

I do not sell/buy accounts for a living or as a hobby hence the lack of rep. I have played the game for 5 years now while being the sole owner of the account, it has been my only account through my time at WoW. I would feel bad to let it rot when I'm gone as it would be a source of great pleasure for someone else. I can show some valid ID and registered contact details i.e.phone number/address for authentication.
