Watch your back, fishy stuff going on

So, as alot of you know it started with my IRL friend and I wanting to trade our duel rogues on arthas/alliance - My 60 rogue and his 59 rogue.



Well I trade my 60 rogue away, and then I eventually trade my buddies 59 rogue for a 60 warlock with 2 epic mounts and godly equipt. My friend wanted the trade because he t hought the warlock would sell for more. In the end, he heard two different stories and isnt sure what to do or believe.



He got the warlock from the AIM: j79k2000 in exchange for his rogue.


This guy told him that he was original owner of the account and that he had SW/Original CD keys.


The enchanged info and all was well. Except my friend doesnt have his SW for his rogue so he didnt get a SW to start.



So my friend does some research and finds that the account was owned by other people (Halofox was hosting a trade for the AIM: deathx987)


So my buddy AIMS this guy and now this guy says HE was original owner and that the guy he originally traded with still owed this guy 280 bucks.


My friend then contacted the guy who had his rogue and this guy said that deathx987 wanted him to login with the warlock to track the IP and not to login to the warlock or all his accounts ever played on his computer would be banned.


j79k2000 did give my friend his rogue back but watch out. Not sure exactly whats going on. Both stories seem off to me. I'd just watch out.



Either of these AiMS have previous scam records?



My friend is so afraid to trade now, and I dont blame him. I posted the accounts for him sense I had a valuable reputation on markee, and we did originally want to sell them/trade them as a package.



Just watch your backs guys, I think there is more to this story then someone is willing to admit.

Well, Nesroe Not sure which person you are. But something does seem fishy. The question is where.
I have recently Just met this death guy, and he seemed ok to me. And he calls me and explains the ordeal.
But First to make Everything clear if you read the post I have No doing in the transaction Clearly states Contact owner.

But As my Understanding, Two Bothers Contact Death, Wanting to purchase his accounts. Now Heres where the trust comes in.
The One brother Purchases the Rogue on Dunemaul, Payment was sent info was exhanged.
The other Brother purchases the warlock on faith. Meaning he asked if he could pay death on friday, but play the warlock currently. And Since one brother payed for the rogue He figures he can trust the guy. So death lets him play the Lock Without paying.
Then the next day death calls me (We do not live near each other so its long distance of course) And tells me Some guy Contacts him saying that he knows the warlock is Deaths.
That the Guy Who was suppose to purchase the warlock traded the warlock the next morning to someone else (Keep in mind DID NOT PAY FOR LOCK YET!)
Now From what i heard Death try to talk to the brothers and they say the other traded etc. (still no payment)
Now, There is something fishy there. I do not think its death side but like i said i just met him. Also I talk to half of the Guild the lock is in. I am not sure, But I dont think payment on lock was made yet.
So Wheres the fishy part? Sounds to me No one intended to pay him for the warlock.. But Hey Like i said I have no part in it.
As far As my Involvement, Death Knows im trying to help people, thru the site im making. He liked the idea and Knows Im a good & honest person. Not really sure why he actually contacted me in the first place. He just asked me to make a post, so i did. Thats my involvment.
But Still Standing the way everything sounds The brothers Scamed the warlock in the event of NOT intending to pay him for it.
So Nesroe if your one of those brothers then perhaps your the fishy one. But I only here one side of things and Cant really judge. And yes The Lock will get recalled if payment was not made for it. I even would do the same. -Duh

Read my post please before you decide to attack me.



First of all, the event didnt even happen directly to me. My friend (Aim Squattingfrog911) traded his rogue for the warlock. Then contacted death to clearify if he actually had owned the account because the person he traded his rogue too FOR the lock said he was original owner.


So being worried, my friend only asked death for info and got pulled into the "brothers" and deaths issue.He asked death info just to figure out if he actually had the same warlock, in doing so he figured out that someone wasnt being honest and he wanted out of it. He got his rogue back so is out of the loop. So, what happens to the warlock he doesnt care about, and neither do I. =\


This post was made to WARN people about this issue, incase THEY get pulled into the middle of it too.



Thanks for being a [censored] though and suggesting I am one of the brothers, when all I did was post to make sure nobody else got dragged into it. I (like you) Just posted for a friend and doesnt appreciate getting a finger pointed at me for simply trying to keep others out of the mess.

I do apologize, on However you took this post. I was not attacking slashing whacking, or nothing. I was merely Explaining my point of veiw on the situation.
Reason I stated (in which i didnt know) Which person or Involvement you had in it all.
But I was However stating That if your the trader of the rogue you was getting scammed in my point of view. The guy hasnt even payed for the lock, so a recall would of happened.

Again i do apologize on however you take a post, perhaps its the way i talk who knows. Hopefully This one isnt as bad /u/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

god damn it u guys are so [censored] suspicious. jesus christ im one of the brothers. ok im the guy that payed for the rogue. ok im not my brother hes a [censored] dumb ass thinks he can get away with things. Im responsible hes not that is all. my brother did scam him. im sorry because death was a really cool guy and was a very smooth transaction. I got pissed when death contacted me ingame telling me my bro hasnt payed him yet. what am i supposed to do i [censored] told him to pay but thats all i could have done. didnt know he was a scammer i mean that was the only trade i had ever done. never heard of this site or new you could trade accounts until i heard my brother talking on AIM with death. then death explained to me all the trading stuff you can do and offered me a 60 rogue in which i completed my part and he did his.
