Uma Musume - IP ban, is it permanent?

Hello guys, how are you? I just got an IP banned for rerolling on Uma Musume, thankfully my IPS provides random IPs every time you reset the modem. But better safe than sorry, are the IP bans permanent or timed?

Are you asking if that specific account was permanently banned or if that IP would be issued another ban in the future?

IP bans typically are not effective and not commonly used anymore as there are countless ways to change an IP or hide your IP.

No, the account I was rerolling for wasn't banned. But my internet IP was, it kept giving me connect error until I restarted the modem and refreshed my internet IP. That's why I asked if the IP ban is permanent or not. If not, for how long does it last? I also tried some free VPN but obviously all free servers had their IP banned too.

I don't see anything wrong with your account. It might have just been a caching issue.

If you experience things like this again I would reach out using the contact us or letting the admin know the exact IP you're having issues with.

I would not know how long that game would IP ban for. I would assume it’s likely permanent. You would need a new IP to evade that ban.


However, I don’t know why a game would bother with an IP ban and not issue a ban to the account. This sounds more like just connection issues and refreshing the modem solved that issue. I do not know any game that still uses IPs to issue bans. Most only use it as a flag in their system as it is not effective anymore to IP ban users.
