Sending crypto with Paypal questions

1. Can every US citizen send crypto now with paypal to external wallets or is it still limited to selected few?

2. Can you not buy crypto with paypal in europe? I can't find an option to buy and hold anywhere, does this mean that the crypto function of paypal will never come to europe?

I've just read about it, seems interesting. For now only the "select few" can use it, but they say within the following weeks they'll enable it for all US customers.


Only UK and part of Europe can buy and sell crypto. No one can send yet. I'm guessing it will slowly extend to other countries and eventually get full functionality, but it could easily end up being a year or more.

I hope they extend it everywhere, it will save many sellers.

The buy and hold crypto function is much older and they didn't extend it beyond UK I think, I'm in a country within European Union and I can't buy and hold crypto. I hope this will change.
