So... Me and my friend walked in one of those "WE BUY GOLD" "CASH 4 GOLD" stores today messing around... And I went to the clerk and asked him if he buys "WOW GOLD", and surprisingly he laughed and said "We don't buy that kind of gold here". I found it hilarious the old man knew what I was talking about.

Yes... and no.
It's basically the same as a pawn shop, you get something, but it's wayyyyyy below the price you could get if you sold it through other means.

Imagine if that became possible though, like you could walk into a store and be like, i have 40k on server x how much can you gimme for it, and they guy would be like, 5 bucks per 1000,

Interesting idea. Doing gold or even account trade in person could make things a bit more secure. Problem would be getting people to come in.
And then... of course there'd be a line of wow gold haters picketing and 'spamming' your business store front.

the prorblem with that would be when they get busted for doing a illegal thing according to blizzards terms of use lol, but yes that would be funny to see at a corner BUY AND SELL YOUR WOW GOLD HERE!
