I know some of you use multiple IM programs, and just wanted to share this program that I heard of about a month ago; I didn't know about it, so I'm only assuming that this may help some of you as well. It's completely free and removes some of the RAM and space that multiple IM programs tend to use up; there are also plug ins for Facebook chat and [censored], so I've been loving it so far.

I know there are other programs out there for this kind of stuff, but Pidgin is free and it's way more lightweight than the other ones I have tested out.

Logs are saved just the same as in other IM programs, (you'll have to enable the plug-in which is already included with the download) and it's a lot nicer to look at instead of opening Facebook in your browser just for the chat, and having ugly [censored] AIM and MSN windows clogging up your screen. Also, all conversations from all accounts are kept in the same window, so it really cleans stuff up.

/shrug, use it if you want; I love it.

Lots of people have problems with signing into AIM and ICQ, apparently (I was one of them). I looked around and found something that told me to uncheck the "Use clientLogin" box, and to set the port to 443. After doing that, I was able to sign into AIM.
