Congrats, nice upgrade! I'm using a One Plus in hopes of upgrading to Samsung Galaxy S6/S7 by the end of the year.

Myself dislike Samsung/LG and would never buy their products, their products is not even popular in Japan. And for the Galaxy S7 a big no for me.

I have to have the ottorbox defender series and they don't make them for that phone. Plus the edge is just, useless. lol

In canada, when the s7s were coming out they were selling s6 and s6 edge for 50$ and I keep my same plan

They had me waiting on the phone for two hours since there systems were bugging out, they gave it for free, got to keep my same plan, If I begged enough I could of got the s7 but I took the chance while i Had it.

Lmao I clicked the first link before really reading anything beyond the title. Glad to see that's the 'before' picture XD

Went from Note 2 to Note 4 last year.. best phones I've ever had.
 
I currently s6, very decent phone) is now like to S7 samsung
 
I'm still using my good old LG G3, but modded it out and put CyanogenMod on it and that alone gave my phone new life. I think my upgrade is in a few months and going to get a LG G5.

Samsung do make nice phones, but their bootloader is locked down like crazy and you can't mod them to put on a custom ROM. I like modding my phones and putting on a custom ROM to do things that the normal android OS can't do.

CyanogenMod is an excellent mod. I'm currently using it on my One Plus!

Oh man I love the mod, it put so much life into my phone when it comes to battery life. My battery use to only last a day at best if I wasn't doing anything on it and once I installed CyanogenMod it can last a few days if I'm not doing anything major on it.

Yep, they are serious about it. I loved my Notes 2 and 4 despite the crazy boot locks. Nova launcher makes for a good bandaid. Just replaced my 4 with an LG V10. I'm really liking this phone. Great hardware design, imo. Just about ready to find out if there's a root kit for it :).
 
I had Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo Plus until tonight(somebody stole my bag with my wallet and phone in while I was at the beach tonight). Anyways I think I'll just use a $10 worth phone while I'm at the beach lol. However, I'm thinking of purchasing Samsung J5 now. I myself hate expensive phones such as S7 and IPhone 6s, around $1.000 worth of phones which can be stolen(as mine did) and never or extremely hard get tracked. Nice upgrade though!

A little review :D

This new phone (Nexus 5X) changed my life xD Now I'm thinking about CM mod. I don't know if I stay on android stock (uptated each month by google) or if I move to Cyanogen.

Any clue? Thanks
 
Well since i last posted here ... i bought myself 2 phones ..
1x Samsung S6 ...
2 months later bought the S7 Edge
Samsung has learned where to touch my inner neard ... you can never go wrong with either of those phones .
 
I have been an iPhone user for quite awhile. I am making the considering galaxy. Not the 7 due to issues and availability of course.
 
I bought myself a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, around 5 months ago for only around 150€.
Installed CM 13 on it and couldn't be more satisfied. The thing pisses on both Samsung and Apple when it comes to price-performance ratio. :D

If anyone is looking for a cheap but powerful phone, this would be my only recommendation.

Is this a region locked phone? I use One Plus One at the moment and thinking about upgrading soon.

No.

There's a chinese and global version. Both work globally and can be set to English, but chinese version has more bloatware. :D
In either case, I'd suggest installing CM13. But even if you don't want to play around with that, you'll be satisfied with the stock rom.
There are also 2 different versions of the phone (different chipset, Mediatek and Snapdragon). The snapdragon one is much better.
