New Desktop making wierd noise help

Hello everybody I got a new desktop and I installed a new hard-drive and It makes this noise a lot that sounds like firecrackers(not that loud but noise similiar to that) and its a BRAND NEW computer can someone please tell me if its my ethernet cable I plugged in or the new hard-drive or what? Please help..

I would take it out as soon as possible. It is either something physically wrong with the Hard Drive or may be a short in your system which can cause a fire. Either way if it's a new computer take it in to be looked at.

First just disconnect the new hard drive and see if it still makes that noise.

How I take out hard drive lol and it has all my stuff on it haha...

If you dont know how to remove it then take the comp to someone that works on them and let them look at it.

I would bet a cable is hitting aginst a fan in the case you should make sure that no cable is touching the fans. If not something could be shorting out or something really bad. Could kill your whole system.
