Very nice choice of PC! It looks pretty awesome too! :)

Edit : Just saw the price tag...wow! They better include free massages/foot rubs for life! :X

Yeah... But I absolutly need a good computer for my IRL work (IT engenieer, doesn't work fine if I have a poor computer)
But yeah, I cried when I pressed the "buy now" bottom...

Why only 128 GB SSD? :D

The price is way too high imo. You could have waited 2-3 more months and bought and amd zen cpu. :)

Yeah, only 128GB ssd. But I think it's sufficient. I just need to put the OS and some software on it.
Too large SSD is irrealevent. I don't need to be able to reed 256Mb.s-1 on my movies...

Also, I absolutly don't love AMD xD I'm pro INTEL+NVIDIA :P

Why do people even buy gaming laptops is my initial question. And certanly for this price. A work laptop should never cost above 800€. Or you should buy a mac.
A laptop is a portable device and should not be used for gaming. The heat can not disipate enough. You need to sacrifice so much to make it fit in the small container.

i bought a pc a copple of months ago for 1120€ and it is better in many ways.
250 gb ssd
2tb hd
16 gb of DDR4
I7 6700K
Gigabyte 970 G1 gaming 4gb ram
Water cooling for cpu
shinobi tower (120€)

The i7 was too expensive xD

Buying a laptop for gaming and working stay cheaper. I don't have enough time money to buy a desktop +screen +laptop for this price :)
Also, I don't think that your computer weigh only 2.4kg and include a screen, a keyboard and a mousepad :P

Yeah but i doubt your laptop has 2 22 inch wide screens either :)

i move to a different city every few weeks, so gaming/working laptop is a must~~

Congrats) Have you looked on something from alienware? They also have good options, such as the Dell Alienware 15 R3 (A5F7161SDDSW-R3)(Intel Core i7-6700HQ (2.6 - 3.5) / RAM 16 GB / HDD 1 TB + SSD 256 GB/ nVidia GeForce GTX 1060, 6 GB), the price is about the same.

I don't think there are many people that require more from a laptop like this one.
It fulfills most of the daily tasks.

I used to have MSI as a laptop, it was the gaming series but to badly the keyboards shut down.
Overall I was happy with MSI.

At this writing moment, I have a beast computer with GTX Titan X in SLI but I'm going to sell this and downgrade to a laptop because I don't use everything it can deliver me.
I like to watch Youtube, Hulu and scroll the Internet. When I play a game it's mostly WoW (private), Euro Truck Simulator 2 or Skyrim because of all the mods.

But I'm indeed glad that you received your new laptop Celine! ^__^

Could have gotten it for $200 cheaper building it yourself :D

I have had both MSI and Intel..and I lean more in favor of MSI.

Personal preference. I like to overclock MSI more. I prefer the control panel though a lot of CPanels between Intel/MSI are basically the same.

I have the FX 8370 currently overclocked and im chillin at 35-45 degrees.

Lifes guud! ;D

What the heck are you cooling it with? I had a 212 EVO on my 8350 before and that thing just blazes at about 70C @ 4.6GHz at 1.3V (can't remember how much voltage it had). This was the temperature during a stability test though with Prime95.
Although I'm happier with what I have now.
