I traded an EQ account for a WoW account 2 months ago, well, today it was "taken back" from me by the old owner - EXACTLY, 1 day before my time expired and my new GC kicked in - which leads me to believe he planned to scam me right from the start and ended up with Blizzard giving him the account back (as he held back secret question/pass info from me and i never found out till i got off the phone with Blizz 10 minutes ago looking and feeling like a complete fool)
Watch out for this guy, he goes by metalpirate, fullmetalpirate, will, will smith and i also suspect a member on this forum of being him as well (admins may inquire within pm if they would like further details regarding my suspicions).
[email protected] was the email he used and YES we spoke over the phone and the ****er still scammed me 2 months down the road so don't assume phone trading is safe for WoW either.
I will be updating this thread with his personal information as soon as i can find the phone bill that has his number on it from when we spoke - i work for an ISP and will be using tools available through there to track the number to a name/address etc..and then i will be reporting him to his ISP for fraud.
