In this guide you will find information on how to properly buy or sell a Fate Grand Order account.
Fate Grand Order is a Japanese gacha game with two different versions that are separate from each other - The Japan version and Global version.
Both are equally popular here. This is because the Japanese version is two years ahead in content and updates. Even though it's not in English, this does not stop Westerners from playing it over the Global version.
Although the games are identical when it comes to transferring accounts, the JAP version is in Japanese so it makes it harder to navigate. In this guide I will show you how to properly buy or sell a FGO account regardless of region.
Buying a Fate Grand Order account
This game is one of the few that doesn't link to any external accounts. To transfer an account to a different device, all you need is the transfer number and password that has been generated on the seller's device.
You can have the account loaded on only one device at a time. This means that once you transfer to your device, account data on the seller's device would become invalid and they would no longer have access to the account.
So all you need to do when buying a Fate Grand Order account is get the transfer code from the seller, load it on your device and check whether the account matches with what is advertised. To properly transfer a FGO account, check out the transfer guide:

Tips for buyers:
- The two game versions are separate from each other. Transfer codes from one region will not work on the other and vice versa. Make sure that you're buying the correct region.- The transfer code is different every time, it is not the user ID of the account like with some mobile games. Take note of it every time you issue a transfer code.
Selling a Fate Grand Order account
To prepare a Fate Grand Order account for sale, all you need to do is generate a transfer code and provide it to the buyer. Follow our transfer guide to issue a transfer number and set a password.
- Keep in mind that once your buyer loads the account on their device, the account will be gone forever from your device without a way to recover.
- Never provide this info to a potential buyer who just wants to check the account before buying. That's most likely a scam.
- To show your account to a buyer, use screenshots or screen sharing. In screenshots, make sure to censor your name and user ID wherever it shows.
- When selling a Fate Grand Order account, make sure that you either trust the buyer or get the payment before handing over the transfer info.
- If the buyer does not wish to go first and you do not trust them, consider using an official EpicNPC Middleman to help you conduct a safe trade through Trade Guardian.
- Since there is no way to recover a sold Fate Grand Order account, you might consider using irreversible payment methods, such as Western Union, Direct bank transfer or Cryptocurrency.
To sell your first Fate Grand Order account on EpicNPC, just open a sale thread in the FGO forum.
