HI, I just sold my account,
after the payment was given, I took out $150.00 from the atm..
Then i came to my computer i saw this ****** disputed the charge, I only had half the amount given left in my account.
Idk what to do? i disputed against that.
I still have the aim logs, and idk what is going to happen.
please help

For starters i would check with the buyer to see if the dispute is in regards to some issue with the account.

If the buyer never tried to contact you or you cant reach him i would move on to making a scammer thread and instructions to do that are found here.

in regards to the paypal dispute your account will show as a negative balance till its resolved don't sweat it to much you have time, before trying to fight through the dispute with paypal i would make sure to do steps 1 and 2 and do what you can to try and resolve it with the buyer.

I've tried contacting him, he isn't on aim.. with the negative balance, if it does give him my money what about the half i took out already? I'm using a student account btw

from what it sounds like he doesn't have the money yet paypal puts the money on a hold till the dispute is resolved.

Yes, He gave me $300.00, I used my pay pal card on an atm, and spent $150.00. So there's a -$145.00 balance. Will it just take the $-145.00 and basically put an IOU on my account? What are the chances I will lose the pay pal dispute? How do I use the aim logs as proof? I'm using a student account so will it make an IOU or will it completely screw me and my parent over by Taking the money out of my moms account?

paypal can't just take money out of your account anymore. unless you set up for like autopay with ebay. It will stay as a IOU

in regards to losing the paypal dispute thats still in the air. if he states he never received the item odds are good since there is no paypal protection for the purchase of virtual goods.

if he disputed stating he never authorized the payment. that could be a little trickier you need to prove that he was the one that made the payment.

Ok, thank you for the help. At least it's safe to know the bank account won't be screwed over.. so like If I had my parent cancel my paypal account would that go away??
