JUST INFORMING EVERYONE ON THE SITE, THERE IS SOMEONE POSING AS ME AND SCAMMING PEOPLE. THEY ARE USING THE SKYPE NAME SACHAMO88, THAT IS NOT MY SKYPE USERNAME. IF ANY DOUBTS ARISE SIMPLY GET THE PERSON TO PM YOU ON THIS SITE.

Always good to verify through this website also. Especially if the person has an authenticator active.

Well, I was too late.

I got scammed for $60 (thankfully it wasn't any more) by this guy with the fake Skype. Really wish I would have seen this earlier, but oh well. It's the past now, time to move on. A lesson learned for me.

The person who scammed me had the email address: [email protected] and the Skype of: live:11716d2d7f1533cf

If you see this person email you, do not trust him. Also apparently his name is Khalil Dancy and he lives in Georgia so I guess if someone wants to take legal action against him go ahead? This is sort of an assumption since I don't know if this is possible or not but it's a Hail Mary I guess. Anything to make me feel better. Now I'm rambling.

If I've learned anything from this, it's to check things thoroughly before doing a transaction. Use a middleman, for example. Or if they tell you that they are a certain person who has a good reputation, check with the user on EpicNPC like I was too stupid to do. Contact people through PMs and don't just put your email out there because you are practically begging to get scammed.

Now I do wish that things like this were more public and received more exposure on the site. I know you can consider it simple common sense, and in hindsight I was pretty stupid with what I did, but I only discovered this particular forum today and it seems that information about these scammers does get buried beneath other posts and I think that the site has a responsibility to put this forum and this sort of thing up on the front page in bright colors for all to see. I will be publicizing this as much as I can to do my own part, and I do hope that if the law fails that whatever forces of nature there are will not and this person will get what they deserve. I'm not too heated about this, at least I learned an important life lesson today for $60 rather than tomorrow for $600, but I'm not exactly glad either.

Happy buying everyone, and if I can give advice, always be pessimistic and cynical when dealing with someone anonymously online. This guy tricked me by seeming friendly and I fell for it, as well as saying that he was someone reputable when he was not. In any dealing, grill the hell out of people for evidence and investigate. If they are telling the truth, then they can provide the evidence and they shouldn't have a problem. If they for some reason seem to be unable to provide evidence – no matter how genuine they seem – then that's a red flag and you should investigate further.

More good information. Thanks Burningfire
