Hello, I'm looking to buy a gaming desktop on black Friday or when there's another big sale. My question is, what kind of gaming desktop should I buy and what specs I should be looking for? I want to play games like Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V. My budget for it is 800,- Euro

Thanks in advance for the help

Depends if you're up for Intel or AMD.

I'm someone who prefers Intel for more power and more reliability.

A decent AMD Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G APU with Vega 8 Graphics/Intel Core i5 9400F
RAM: 16GB
GPU: GTX 1650 4GB/GTX 1660 6GB
Powersupply: Need roughly 500W-600W

If anyone is looking to upgrade their PC or build a new one I can't recommend the used market enough. I was recently lucky enough to catch a great 1080 for a little under $250.

Whenever you consider a gaming desktop, you should also consider an up-to-date gaming laptop. I've been using MSI GE72 Apache Pro for almost 5 years so far. Of course, the coefficient price/quality between desktops and laptops is not in favour of the latter ones. However, a proper laptop might match your basic purposes a way better.

I had 1080ti from aftermarket. It didn’t last a month. I only figured it after I bought it that it was used for mining for a long time and when it was dying the seller decided to sell it. So you’re lucky if yours didn’t have the same past as mine ;)
