Folks need to remember a few things

Ok folks I've noticed lately that alot of you seem to think you can go wild on the forums and post whatever ou want context wise. Trolling and other insulting post's have never been tolerated and will not begin to be now. As you've noticed probably there's a new warning/punishment system in place on the forums involving infractions. Once you accumulate enough points you will receive a temp ban and so on. Points stay active for 30 days upon which they reset. The rules governing this new system can be found below.

Name Description Points

Don't be an Idiot​

• This rule has always been in effect and covers a wide range of activities that include the offenses below, as well as other actions and behaviors that the MMO Bay staff believes are harmful to the site or its members.

Spam​

• Posting short and unhelpful comments (such as "cool", "nice acc," etc).
• Flooding the forums with pointless threads or replies for the purpose of increasing post count.
• Posting comments with little to no relevance to the topic at hand.
• Do not heedlessly place your advertisements through the forums.

Bumping​

• Bumps must be limited to once every six (6) hours.
• You should have no more than five (5) active business threads open on the first page at one time.

Flaming​

• Using excessive cursing, insults, and derogatory comments towards another member
• Word censor by-passing (Trying to get past the word filter by misspelling or by other means)
• No links to sites or images containing sexually explicit, gross violence, or are determined by moderators to be detrimental to the community.

Trolling​

• Anyone found to be intentionally "trashing" or "trolling" in another user's thread will be dealt with immediately.

Cross Posting​

• Cross-posting refers to posting new duplicate threads or posts already started with the intention of gaining exposure.

Prohibited Material​

• Third party hacks, private servers, dupe bugs, gold farming or advertisement of/for such etc, is strictly forbidden.
• We do not allow buying, trading, or selling of any Windows licenses.
• Digital game-time codes purchased with a credit card are not allowed to be sold on these forums. (Ex. 30, 90, 180 day WoW times. 60 day physical cards are acceptable.)
• Personal information such as a full name, phone number, address, etc.. must be removed.
• Businesses may add their business name, address and phone number or other contact information.
• Credit card services are not allowed here. (Providing account transfers, customizations, etc... via credit card.)
• Lockerz accounts, or related material is not allowed here.

• If you break the same rule that you currently or previously have had an infraction for the penalty will be much greater.

• You are permitted a maximum of one account, active or inactive.If you choose to ignore this important restriction, all your accounts will be disabled.If you have been banned and you return on another account you will be banned on sight.

Ban​

MMOBay Verification​

• Any type of service that requires you to access the clients personal account to a game (such as World of Warcraft, etc.) requires you to be MMObay Verified.
• All leveling providers that advertise their services to our members must be MMOBay Verified.
• Displaying a fake MMOBay Verified image of any kind is grounds for immediate suspension.

Signatures​

• Any signature that is offensive or insulting is prohibited.
• Images have a maximum of 300 pixels in height and a maximum of 500 pixels in width.

Avatars​

• Cannot include sexually explicit or graphically intense images, at moderators discretion.

Custom Titles​

• Custom User Titles are not available to all members. Please see more info about Professional Seller Status.You may not use a custom title that may impersonate a Staff member, user group, or any entity you are not associated with.

Account Renting​

• Strictly not allowed due to very high scam rates. Renting is not a legit service and is to deceive you!You are not allowed to buy or sell account rental services, or any form of account "renting".

Scamming​

• If you are proven to be a scammer on the forums your account will be banned.

LEARN them LOVE them ABIDE BY THEM but what ever you do DON'T IGNORE them.

I'm leaving this thread open for belly aches and moans that I know some of you are going to have, but if you want to post then make it constructive.

Not sure where else to post this, but I'd like to make a request to extend the amount of threads per page when viewing forums. Markee had it at like 100 and even though threads got bumped off it so quickly, it stayed awhile simply because there were so many. I'm sure I'm not the only one who rarely goes passed the first page. Maybe its an option in my settings, I don't know, but it would be great just to put as the default setting. It also makes the board look much busier.

Just throwing it out there!

Banned - multiple accounts - scammer

Hi, for some reason I was banned today, and the message said that my account is linked to multiple previous banned accounts, but this is the first account I've ever made on this website. I even have two positive reputation from trades I've done, and I have many other people who can vouch for me. I also have positive reputation on other websites like sythe.org and **************.com.

I can also buy trust who verification to prove my legitimacy since I was going to buy that any way.

I learned about RMT a few years ago (and joined sythe), but now I'm getting more into it and am interested in starting my own business. Massaccounts.com will be my project this year, which will be an ecommerce site integrated with vbulletin and clip bucket.

If possible, please look into the situation and unban me. I only wish to make some money on the side to pay for school, and don't know why this happened.

By the way, I was never trying to "post farm", I just didn't see the date.
