Reported problem: Transaction #146848.
Background:
Steam blocked the account sold and requested basic information to unlock it that the account owner should have. In going back and forth with the seller for a week it became known that the seller is not the account owner even thought this is what was advertised. The middleman requested the seller either help with recover or give a refund. I have not had any traction. The Steam account is currently locked and Steam (very helpful) is asking for basic information. I have asked the seller to either give the information to me, use a middle man, or frankly I would give him the login to Steam to resolve and he's not able to do it. The response I was given is to use another platform (console). This is not the terms of the sale. I've purchased an account for $1500 that in under 2-weeks from purchase has been locked by Steam.
Outcome of dispute: False advertising. Seller was not OO as claimed. No response from seller after account was recalled. Banned until full refund is issued.
