Reported problem: As of 11/26, this account has been returned to the original owner. I have no way of knowing if this user was the original owner, or if they were imitating the owner. However, Trade guardian was used and this user insisted on Bitcoin for the transfer. As such, the original owner retains the account and I spent 900$ using trade guardian for an item I do not possess any longer. Intrepid customer support was very clear that under any dispute they simply return the account to its original owner. Therefore I believe this to have been fraud. I am aware that I cannot receive my funds back because bitcoin was used. But thought it important that the site know what had occurred. A formal request was made to return ownership via Intrepid’s customer support and I have no defense against that. A screenshot of this transaction was used to justify that their TOS has been breached and to return the account. I’m short, Trade Guardian was used to scam me out of 900$.
Outcome of dispute: Appears seller stole the account back or sold a stolen account.
Account was returned to original email, seller claims email account was deleted, but the email account was not. Seller lied multiple times during the dispute. Banned.
