So i've finally moved my PC into my room away from the lounge room and I don't want a cable running from my room to the router so I've bought this card. I used to have this card installed awhile ago and use it with the same machine but wanted cable for some odd reason.
But now I've got it back in and up in another room. It wont allow me to install the drivers? It keeps asking me if I want to remove the drivers when I try and install them, so I let them remove it restart my PC and then try again and it tells me the same thing? I tried installing them in safe mode the same thing? Am i missing anything?
Will this be a strong enough card to reach about 15 – 20 meters? Any idea on how to get these drivers to install?
I tried downloading the drivers from the d-link site
D-Link Wireless N 150 PCI Adapter
but the download cuts out 50% of the way through. I'm completely lost now, does anyone have any ideas?
