Account Transfer Question.

Im looking to buy a account and paying top dollar and i do not want to purchase it and 3 months later it all of a sudden be recalled so im buying cd keys and xferring the character off to a new account.

How much safer does xferring a character off of the orignal account to a new account?

And dont know if you need first and last or just one of them, If i xfer it and i have the information cant he just say it is his name and provide the driver's license and they will recall the account back to him?

Speaking from experience, transferring a character from one account to another does not increase the safety of your account at all if the person recalling wishes to be persistent. The OO can easily file an unauthorized transfer and have the account back in their hands in no time. I once had a battle.net recalled from me two weeks prior to the character retransferred back to the original account which was recalled.

I'm not trying to discourage you from attempting to secure the account, but nothing is 100% foolproof. I recommend an authenticator as I believe removal and recovery of an account with authenticators would prompt a notarized account retrieval form which would require a notary stamp of authenticity - which is a pain to get.

I have a authenticator and thought that was always the way to go, but ive put authenticators on accounts i have purchased and a simple email later it would be removed and the OO would have it back in there possession.

I have had a account that i had to go through a phone conversation, and unlucky me the name was spanish and i am the whitest sounding person in america probably and the Customer Support Agent i was talking to was less than cooperative, dont want to explain fully but at the end of the conversation he said the account was being flagged for recovery as in mailing in driver's license and the long form and such, a week later i logged back on the account and nothing ever happened it has made me distrust recovering accounts ever since.

So anything and everything i can do makes me a whole lot happier than going through any recovery with Blizzard, but thank you for your comment.

I'd recommend buying an account from a service that 'makes' accounts instead of reselling them. There's a few 'made to order' services doing this.
It's essentially the same as ordering power leveling, except it's ready to go right now with no wait.

For security from account reclamation, that's the route to take.
Or at the very least, pick a company which is known to stand behind it's guarantees for replacing accounts that get reclaimed by an original owner.
buymmoaccounts comes to mind.
