Track Your WoW Account No Matter What

For those of you with a Facebook account, there is a app called WoW Feed that tracks your wow account regardless of name change or server transfer, meaning if someone tries scamming your account and moving it you can track it no matter what they do.

World of Warcraft Feeds | Facebook

I highly recommend this app for anyone that buys an account

How does it work exactly? Will it start tracking info as soon as you download the app. Do other people need this app for it to work? When does it start tracking info? Can you see all its past history or only from the time it's been entered in the app? Can this info be blocked from others?
Are you a new seller? Not sure if your buyer is trustworthy?

I've never used it, so im not exactly sure about all the details. Its only tracks from the time you set it up, not the past history. I think in the settings you can set the update so that no everyone on your friends list will constantly see your wow updates.

I wouldnt say this is exactly "useful" it would only work for an account your the original owner to, and I can see where this could be a negative impact more then a positive, with the OO keeping track of the progress you make on their old account then they just recall it later down the line.

Why would the OO be the only one that could use this? The person that recommended this to me was a user that used this for an account they bought, so not just the OO could use it.

well it works with any account. but my main concern would be associating your facebook with a wow account with a different name, blizzard clearly would get this information since you need to log into the wow account with your facebook for it to work.

if blizzard cared enough it's not difficult to run a scan to these merged facebook accounts with battlenets and lock up the accounts and request an account recovery form.

Well you could always just create a new Facebook page for your WoW account specifically and make the FB account completely private.

Its the same with authenticators. How many different accounts have people put 1 authenticator on? Blizzard has done 0 about that. Or battle.net accounts that have been linked to a different name than the original wow account.

I was the one who had mentioned it to the Admin, through email discussions regarding over my horrible experience with a scammer. I had paid 2 thousand dollars for a specific account and it was my first time as a buyer and the scammer/seller re-called it and nothing was able to be done about it so I had been trying to track it down where he took the toon *server/race/ect* and didn't have any luck so it dawned on me that I had that account linked to my facebook so I checked that out and bingo. I would say when it comes to buying or even selling is to make a different facebook profile and link your accounts/toons to it so you can track it down whenever. Strangely it was still linked to my facebook spite it being re-called and information being changed, but it helped me track it down though.

He means the OO tracking it, then he trades, then tracks the progress, then recalls.

Though, how did that help you get what you lost? Did you actually get the account or the money back from the scammer?
