EpicNPC Forum Rules

There is no charge for joining this forum! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. We do not delete accounts once they are activated. The basic ground rules for discussions on EpicNPC are simple: be polite, use common sense, and don't break the law. This is a family friendly community and your behavior here should reflect this.

Infraction Point System:

When you break a rule an infraction will be given to your account.
Any member who is given 5 infraction points during a 30 day period will receive a 3 day ban from the forums.
Any member who is given 8 infraction points during a 30 day period will receive a 7 day ban from the forums.
Infractions against your account will expire after 1 month from when they were received.
Members may be permanently banned after multiple temporary bans or infractions if deemed necessary.
Members may also be banned immediately for breaking rules if serious enough.

Forum Rules: These rules apply to all forum categories and to all members.

Don't be an Idiot	This rule has always been in effect and covers a wide range of activities that include the offenses below, as well as other actions and behaviors that the EpicNPC staff believes are harmful to the site or its members.	1 +
Spam	Posting short and unhelpful comments (such as "cool", "nice acct," etc). Flooding the forums with pointless threads or replies for the purpose of increasing post count. Posting comments with little to no relevance to the topic at hand. Do not heedlessly place your advertisements through the forums. Creating a thread to advertise your referral/affiliate URL. Exceptions can be made for site owners, please contact EpicNPC for more information. Professional Seller Premium users are allowed 1 affiliate thread for a site they do not work for or own.	1 - 2
Bumping	Bumps must be limited to once every six (6) hours. You should have no more than three (3) active business threads open on the first page at one time.	1 - 2
3 Thread Rule	No individual member is allowed to have more than 3 threads on the frontpage of any forum at one time. Websites with Multiple Sellers If multiple websites are selling the same accounts, all websites will be considered one site and be restricted to the 3 max thread rule. If a website/s has multiple sellers, all sellers of that site/s will be grouped together and that group cannot have more than 3 threads on the frontpage at once. Example: Joe, Dave and BoB, work for BigWOWSite. Joe post 2 threads, Dave post 2 threads an Bob posts 1 threads. All threads are unique, meaning they are all selling different accounts.* This group would be in violation.* These 3 members combined have 5 threads breaking the 3 max thread rule. Exceptions to Multiple Sellers If the site is not mentioned and no links are linking to it, it does not count. Example: If Joe did not mention or link to BigWOWSite in any of the threads, he would not be included, so his 2 threads would not count and all 3 sellers would NOT be in any violation. Linking to a site in your sig does not count as an link. Example: Joe does link to BigWOWSite in his sig, but not thread. The link in his sig would not count, so there is still no violation.	1 - 2
Flaming	Using excessive cursing, insults, and derogatory comments towards another member, includes baiting members into arguments. Word censor by-passing (trying to get past the word filter by misspelling or by other means). No links to sites or images containing sexually explicit, gross violence, or are determined by moderators to be detrimental to the community.	2 - 4
Trolling	Trolling someone elses thread includes but is not limited to the following: Spamming in someones thread. Accusing the poster of being a scammer without proof. Linking or bringing up a resolved scammer thread the poster was involved in. Intentionally flaming. Trolling does NOT include linking to an open scam thread. Aside from the URL, the ONLY comment that can be left is "User has an open scam thread here, URL."	2 +
Cross Posting	Cross-posting refers to posting new duplicate threads or posts already started with the intention of gaining exposure.	2
Prohibited Material	We do not allow buying, trading, or selling of any Windows licenses. Personal information such as a full name, phone number, address, etc. must be removed. Businesses may add their business name, address and phone number or other contact information. Credit card services are not allowed here (providing account transfers, customizations, etc ... via credit card). Employee codes for the same services are allowed, but only by Verified members. Digital game-time codes are only allowed to be sold by EpicNPC Verified users (ex. 30, 90, 180 day World of Warcraft time cards, and other item codes. Physical cards are acceptable by all (60 day cards)). Lockerz accounts, or related material is not allowed.	1 - 2
Fake IDs	We do not allow buying, selling or even asking for Fake IDs anywhere on or off these forum's. Anyone caught will be temp-banned for 60 days and receive a negative feedback that will be permanent. Anyone caught a second time will be permanently banned.	60 day ban
Repeat offenses	If you break the same rule that you currently or previously have had an infraction for the penalty will be much greater.	+

Multiple Accounts	You are permitted a maximum of one account, active or inactive. If you choose to ignore this important restriction, all your accounts will be disabled. If you have been banned and you return on another account you will be banned on sight. Multiple Accounts Exception: There is an exception to multiple accounts for larger sellers that want separate accounts for employees. The primary account MUST be EpicNPC verified or be in the Professional Seller Premium usergroup.	Ban
EpicNPC Verification	Any type of service that requires you to access the clients personal account to a game (such as World of Warcraft, etc.) requires you to be EpicNPC verified. All leveling providers that advertise their services to our members must be EpicNPC verified. Displaying a fake EpicNPC verified image of any kind is grounds for immediate suspension.	3
Signatures	Any signature that is offensive or insulting is prohibited. Images have a maximum of 300 pixels in height and a maximum of 700 pixels in width.	1 - 2
Avatars	Cannot include sexually explicit or graphically intense images, at moderators discretion.	1 - 2
Custom Titles	Custom user titles are not available to all members. Please see more information about Professional Seller Premium. You may not use a custom user title that may impersonate a staff member, usergroup, or any entity you are not associated with.	2
Account Renting	Strictly not allowed due to very high scam rates. Renting is not a legit service and is to deceive you! You are not allowed to buy or sell account rental services, or any form of account "renting."	4 - 5
Scamming	If you are proven to be a scammer on the forums your account will be banned. Users who claim they were hacked, phished, or keylogged, etc... are still held responsible for losses.	Ban
Proxies and VPN's	The use of proxies, virtual private networks (VPN) and other IP anonymity usages are NOT allowed on the forums. Use of them is cause for account closure.	Ban

All publicly displayed messages are limited to the English language. This includes posts, titles, signatures, and any attachments or other forms of public display.
You must edit out any personal information such as a full name, phone number, address, or any other personal information. Posting personal info other then AIM, e-mail address and EpicNPC username is not allowed, even your own.
Your postings on this public forum will become public. Your text will be available to anyone with an internet connection.
You must be (by law) at least 13 years old to use this forum. By using this forum, you are claiming to be at least 13 years old or older.
Under no circumstances can someone own a "method". Meaning if you know how to do a name change or trasfer a character for free and you tell or sell your method to another member, they can resell or tell anyone they want.

EpicNPC Verification is a service that verifies your identity with the goal of removing some of the anonymity from online trades and sales. The requirements of EpicNPC Verification are that you be located in your home town when ordering, that you provide accurate contact information including telephone number and street address, and that you provide a physical form of identification (ID) through which we can verify you. To purchase EpicNPC Verification click here. Get verified. It's fast, easy to do and it's only $10.00. We don't do this to make money. It's 100% a community service.

Any type of service that requires you to access the clients personal account to a game (such as World of Warcraft, etc.) requires you to be EpicNPC verified.
All leveling providers that advertise their services to our members must be EpicNPC verified.
Anyone offering unbanning services must be EpicNPC verified.
Displaying a fake EpicNPC image of any kind is grounds for immediate suspension.

Rating & Feedback System

Ratings are for transactions only.
You may not compensate anyone for any review or recommendation.
Companies that are EpicNPC verified cannot give their employees ratings, and the employees cannot give the company ratings unless an actual transaction has occurred.
Companies can only have ratings given to one account and not multiple accounts after a transaction by a customer.
Disregarding these rules may lead to account suspension and/or having your EpicNPC verification status revoked.
You may NOT post feedback on behalf of any user. Doing so puts your own EpicNPC status at risk and may cause a permanent account suspension.
Grief ratings are not permitted.

We do recommend that you do a search of the username and instant messaging name for your own protection. Ratings are intended as additional information for you, but are not intended to be the sole information that you should base your decision on.

Professional Seller Premium

This will allow you to highlight your username and give you a custom title in the forums with a hyper link in the forums and be noticed as a "Professional Seller Premium" highlighted in orange. This color change will not only bring you more attention. It will show that you are serious about doing professional sales within the EpicNPC forums. The custom title and link will be any words up to 32 characters in length linking to the site or page of your choice. Not only do you get noticed but your link will help to advertise any site you wish. Go to the EpicNPC Store to purchase or find out more information about Professional Seller Premium status!

Chat Room Rules

These rules refer to the chat box on the forum homepage.

The advertising posts can only be posted once in the view of the chat window. Meaning once a post is below the fold and you have to scroll to see it, it doesn't count anymore.
Each ad (post) can take up a maximum of 6 lines when the browser width is at the minimum. This is because the width of the chat depends on the member's screen size, so the number of lines people see can be different.
- On the forum homepage, shrink your browser's width until the chat box no longer shrinks. At this width your ad can be 6 lines.
- Breaking up your ad into multiple chat posts is not allowed. The entire ad should be in 1 post.

The above rule only refers to ads. If you are just chatting and talking to other members, you can post as much as you want as long at its not spammy.

So guess what?
I got a car
its a honda
it's got 4 wheels
and I just drove it home
its red too
did I mention I got a car today?

That bumps the chat too much, each post is very short and all of that info could have been posted in 1 line. This rule is at the discretion of mods, but as a rule of thumb, once you post 4 times in a row with no replies, it can be considered spammy. Even if it was broken up by 1 or 2 posts by other members, the above would still be considered spammy.

It is not required to have a thread to post a sale/trade offer in the chat box.

All rules pertaining to flaming, cursing, racist comments or anything offensive are the same as the regular forum rules found in this guideline.

Disclaimer: It is impossible to create a rule for every scenario so like everything else, it is up to the discretion of the mods to decide. If you feel you have been unfairly been given an infraction in the chat box, PM me (EpicNPC) with the time of incident and a description of what happened.

Any abuse towards our staff and/or management in any form will not be tolerated!
If administrators/moderators should engage in buying/selling/trading/leveling accounts or make themselves available to be a middleman between users - they act as a personal entity and not as a representative of EpicNPC .
Staff will never vouch for anyone!
